Art on the Block and other stuff
I have created my piece for 'Art on the Block' a fund raising auction of blocks created by artists to raise money for Musgrove Hospital in Taunton. The auction takes place on the 24th May so plenty of time to save up. It is brazed steel wire.
I have also been awarded £13,500 from the arts council to create a temporary Pavilion for the Castle Green site in Taunton, this I will be designing over the next few weeks so watch this space. The idea is to create a sound pavilion that can be played by anyone and everyone. It will be on site in June through to October 2016. Ann Jones put in the bid for me, so a big thank you to her. Milverton Sawmill will be providing the timber and hopefully a space for me to make something on such a large scale. I am very excited by this project and really hope that I can make something special for that amount of money.
