Riven Bird Temple in situ

So today I drove through the somerset and devon countryside in glorious sunshine and unseasonal temperatures to deliver and install the Riven Bird Temple. And what a pleasure it turned out to be, firstly putting the sculpture on a oil drum raft and them gentle putt putting over to the island, we dug a hole and inserted the sculpture and then photographs as we drifted back to shore. What an extremely lovely way to spend the day. The sculpture looked at home at once, the reflections in the still water adding to its being, a sculpture now 'placed' in its environment.
